The director suggested a set in the style of pictorial satirist, William Hogarth.   Using artwork from Hogarth (and his contemporaries), I created a gigantic political cartoon for Mary Pix’s less-than-reputable characters to inhabit.   Below is also a photograph of the rough concept model.
