How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying

How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying
How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying

Date:  March, 2002    Venue:  Bing Theatre, U.S.C.

Collaborators: Kelly Ward (director), Parmer Fuller (music director), David West (lighting), Eddie Bledsoe (costumes),

My Role: Scenery Designer

Description:

Working with the director, we developed an architectural language for the World Wide Wicket building that was in line with Frank Lloyd Wright’ writings, but without Wright’s unerring taste.   Aside from being the final phase of my M.F.A. thesis, several members of the original Broadway cast members were in attendance on opening night.   The great actor, director, and original Bud Frump had positive comments about my design.

Below are two of my early concept sketches.
