Description:
Debra Erven’s vision for the show was a wooded library. Several large books around the stage would open to reveal chicken houses, cider cellars, store houses, and fox borrows. Other inspirations were drawn from the illustrations of many or Roald Dahl’s books.
“Boltz’s set is wonderfully clever, from the way scenes pop up out of giant volumes of Dahl’s books to the set piece used to create the illusion of the animals tunneling.” — Donald Monro, Fresno Bee
