Date:  March, 2011    Venue:  Fresno City College, Main Stage

Collaborators: Charles Erven (Director), Debra Erven (Costume Designer), Jeff Barrett (Sound Design/Technical Direction)

My Role: Scenery and Lighting Designer

Description:

“Ballad of Chet” was an original play with music produced by Fresno City College.    This play concerns a devious accountant, the mafia, and Satan (who has ambitions on being a Vegas singer).      The production concept is that of the devil’s Vegas lounge act.

“Christopher Boltz’s lighting and scenic design is really fine. (I love the slot-machine lighting style he uses to tell us we’re at a Denny’s or a 7-Eleven.) ” – Donald Monro, Fresno City College
